    "The oldest blood known to me from the last 30 years can be found in the descendants of the puppies from the kennel "Grünrocks" with the bitch Ceraphina from Kätchenstadt and the bitch Gracia von Poppenforst who remained in the kennel "Magic Springer". The third old line is that of the rabbit scarer dogs, ....."
    Artmann/Werthner were absolutely right with their research: Calvin from Kätchenstadt (1999-2014) was the brother of Ceraphina and my first English Springer Spaniel male and in 2005 he became a hunting stud dog and father of 10 adorable puppies from the VDH/FCI/JGHV hunting breeding program. With his son Duke, Calvin passed on his dog sports and hunting talent to the Springfield's line and the Springfield's descendants to this day are descended from these outstanding dogs or the 'oldest blood of the last 44 years'. Gracia vom Poppenforst also descended from Cleavehill Goldfinger. Duke's mother Lara "Wild Hunter's Enormous Emily" also descends from a very old hunting line.
