I am not a breed fanatic and do also like the pointer breeds. So Emy and Felicia, two Bourbonnais Pointers have really brought some energy into the house and taught me a lot. You could have a look at our YouTube Videos.

Springfield's Anais Nin, Claudia Jäger Drückjagd

Our dogs are always been trained in hunting and dog sports. They enjoy working in a team and have done dog sport and hunting test with prizes. The owners of the Springfield's English Springer Spaniel have contributed significantly to the great success of the Springfield's Dogs at trials and exhibitions.

Since 2002, the dogs and I have taken part in hunting cynological meetings, and large and small driven hunts. If you are interested in the illustrious hunting line of the Springfields, ancestors follow this Link.

Even though I have studied the English Springer Spaniel breed I like all dogs and dog sports. Among other things, I have actively participated in dog sports, attended VDH seminars and dog training seminars, I have dog sport certificates and have done volunteer work.

With our tiny Springfield's Kennel, we were represented at exhibitions in Germany and abroad, as well as at hunting and dog sport competitions. Three of my own "homebred" English Springer Spaniel Champions Britt, Byron and Crissy were able to earn the VDH Champion titles such as German Junior Champion, German Champion, Federal Youth Winner and many daily titles Our breeding has also produced several stud dogs and bitches that meet all the requirements of the breeding associations. And of our dogs have been VDH "Full Champion" with FCI working dog certificate and have passed the hunting tests.

In summary, we were very lucky and had a great time with our Springer Spaniels.

Now we are looking forward breeding a Braque du Bourbonnais litter this Fall 2025.
